Dan Harmon, co-creator of "Rick and Morty" season 3 has recently revealed information about the release date of the show. What he said will not be good news for the fans who have been waiting for so long for the show's launch date. However, to assuage the fans, the creators will offer something that will entertain them while they're waiting for its release.
Harmon Assured Fans That The Animators Are Working On The Show
Harmon said that the animators of "Rick and Morty" season 3 are currently into deep production. That means the show will not be coming out soon. Previously, there were rumors that the show will premiere in July this year. But with this information coming from the creators, it is clear that fans will have to wait some more.
Harmon Admitted That He Is To Blame For The Delay
Harmon also revealed some details on the reasons for the delay. He admitted at the Sundance event that the delay of "Rick and Morty" season 3 is because of him. He even said that if Justin Roiland, his partner, was there, he would agree. Harmon also confided to the fans that it's hard to determine the reasons why they botched up the process. "I don't know why," he admitted.
A VR Game Based On "Rick and Morty" Is Coming Soon
In their effort to appease the waiting fans of "Rick and Morty" season 3, a virtual reality game based on the show will be unveiled early this year. The title of the game is "Virtual Rick-ality." It will have its debut on the PAX East 2017 gaming festival that is slated on March 10 to 12 in Boston.
The Fans Will Hopefully Be Appeased By This VR Game
This virtual reality game was created by Owlchemy Labs, the studio that developed "Job Simulator," a hit VR game in 2016. Roiland, the co-creator of Harmon for "Rick and Morty" season 3 has also provided some of the voices on this VR game. Fans could get hold of this VR game when it is unveiled to keep them from being impatient while waiting for the show's release.
