Many have already been fortunate enough to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S4. However, the device, which comes running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, doesn't allow for immediate access to developer options.
This can be easily changed, however, with the ability to access the hidden developer options through a few easy steps. This is a welcome development for those used to simply accessing those options on their device.
Want to access developer settings on your Samsung Galaxy S4? Here's how.
1. Go to Settings. Since Samsung has changed things around a bit, you'll have to click on the "More" tab, then go into the Software information.
2. Look for "About device" located at the bottom, then tap it.
3. Go to the build number and tap it seven times (After the sixth time, you'll receive a prompt stating that you are about to unlock the developer settings. Once you hit the button the seventh time, the developer settings are unlocked).
Developer settings are now available for your Samsung Galaxy S4.
Samsung's flagship device for 2013, the Galaxy S4 sports the latest Android software along with a number of features that smartphone enthusiasts should find appealing. These include Smart Scroll, whereby the user is able to scroll up and down web pages just by looking at the screen, and Smart Pause, where the user can pause a video while looking away from the screen.
Other features include Air View, Air Gestures and Eraser Shot, which allows you to remove people and objects from a photo in the camera app.
