New iPhone SE Will Be Launched By Apple In March

March is almost here and for Apple fans, this means the possibility of seeing new products. Although the company is known for its September flagship iPhone press cons, Apple is also not a stranger to March launch events. Last year, the company launched the iPhone SE in March and as per current rumors, the same event may be repeated this year.

Apple iPhone SE 2017 Launch

The iPhone SE gave people who hate phablets an opportunity to get an iPhone that fits their preferred size. The original SE boasted of its iPhone 6S-level specs that are packed inside an iPhone 5S body. Now, rumor has it that fans may once again see a small iPhone that sports powerful internals.

According to reports, a 128 GB iPhone SE may be introduced next month alongside other new Apple products. Take note that the first SE is only available in two storage variants - 16 GB and 64 GB. What the current rumors suggest is that a 128 GB storage option may be added on the list of iPhone SE variants. Nevertheless, what isn't clear is whether or not the new iPhone SE will boast of a new set of internal specs.

Apple iPhone SE 2017 Specs

Last year's iPhone SE is pretty much like the 6S when is comes to specs. There are minor differences including the size and camera, but overall, the SE was leaps ahead of the iPhone 5S that it looks like. For the 2017 edition of the phone, only its storage amount was leaked. However, it can be easily assumed that it won't introduce the next major iOS update or the next Apple chipset. Both the iOS 11 and the A11 are still expected for the flagship iPhones that are bound for September release. With that said, if the rumor is true and Apple launches the 128 GB iPhone SE next month, the phone could either retain the 6S-like specs that the original iPhone SE has, or it can share some specs with the current iPhone 7 series.
