"Wentworth" Season 5 has long been confirmed by the stars of the show, but details about the installment have been slow to come by until recently. A supposed video teaser has been posted online which has started a frenzy among fans as it could have been the first trailer of the hit crime flick. However, the network home of the series has not officially dropped the video yet.
Fans of the Australian T.V. series, "Wentworth" are already inarguably desperate to hear updates about their favorite show. However, the "Wentworth" team are tight-lipped about the fifth installment which is being teased by the lead stars since last year. Fans then were quick to fall for a video clip that was supposed to be the show's first teaser of the new season.
In the video, it can be seen that a lady prisoner - assumed by fans to be Allie Novak - is holding a red rose as she heads towards a wall with the names of Bea and Allie enclosed in heart doodled on it. A background script can be heard saying "Love Never Dies." This video then sparked countless reactions from fans, but Foxtel has not yet confirmed the clip. Hence, fans should still take the post with a grain of salt.
Meanwhile, the whole fandom of "Wentworth" is still guessing whether Bea "Top Dog" Smith will still be seen on season 5. Fans know very well that the drama centers on her storyline and a lot of viewers were shocked at how the show decided to kill the character in season 4. Producers of the show already confirmed the character's death, but a lot of fans are still hoping to see the fan favorite prisoner making her comeback in "Wentworth" season 5.
Although a lot of "Wentworth" supporters were dismayed with the turn of events in the show, Kate Jenkinson, who plays Allie, spoke to defend the production's decision. The actress revealed that the character's demise was necessary to lead the story in the right direction. She also requested the fans to wait and see the outcome of Bea's death.
The release date of "Wentworth" season 5 has not yet been revealed. Fans of the show though expect the installment to premiere this year.
