Alec and Magnus will get into a disagreement in "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 9. Meanwhile, Iris will activate the blood oath and Clary will be in danger. She will be targeted not just by Valentine but also by some Downloaders.

In "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 8, Simon finally confessed his feelings to Clary. But before that happens fans get to see some intense moments. Maryse isn't thrilled of his son's boy lover and gave Magnus a hard time. To make things worse in Max's Rune Ceremony, a warlock lady showed up and cast a spell to everyone. Jace saw Maryse trying to kill him, Alec nearly jumped off the building because Clary was blaming him in due to her mom's death and Clary saw Simon kissing Maia.

Clary would be in danger in "Shadowhunters" season 2, episode 9. The official synopsis for episode 9 via Spoiler TV reveals Clary would be sidelined by Iris' blood oath. As Iris activates her blood oath, the Downloaders will argue on what to do, some think killing her would be the best solution.

The promo for the next episode released by Freeform started with Luke warning Clary to be careful as the Downworld begins to fall apart. However, it looks like Clary herself will also get conflicted. "I would rather die than see Valentine destroy the Downworld," Clary tells Simon in the teaser. The next clip shows a weak looking Clary on Simon's arm.

On the other hand, the synopsis also revealed that Isabelle and Raphael will get closer. Alec will try to find out what's going on with his sister and it looks like he will come to odds with Magnus. The promo shows Alec marching to confront Magnus. Magnus says he doesn't know about it but Alec replies he knew enough. Alec then punches Raphael.
