Apple´s Spaceship Headquarters Will Open In April

Apple´s spaceship headquarters will become a reality in the soonest time possible since the Cupertino company announced that this would be ready in April, and its employees will finally be able to work in one of the most innovative environments in the history of tech companies. This way, Apple will be finally materializing Steve Job´s biggest dream and unfinished project.

More Than 12,000 Employees To Move In Apple´s Spaceship

Regarding its name, the Cupertino company announced on Wednesday that Apple´s spaceship will be called Apple Park and that even when the employees will be occupying it in April, the 175-acre ring-shaped futuristic campus won´t be 100 percent ready. The construction will continue through the summer and is believed to avoid any inconvenience on the workers.

In fact, the Cupertino giant expects to move more than 12,00 employees to Apple´s spaceship by the end of this year, which seems as an ambitious move from the company. Apparently, even when Apple´s spaceship will be accessible mostly to the employees, it will also include open spaces to the public like the Apple Store and a visitor's center.

The Auditorium Will Be Called After Steve Jobs

Remarkably, the most important detail about Apple´s spaceship is that in order to honor the legendary Steve Jobs, its 1,000-seat auditorium will be named after the company´s iconic founder. Regarding this announcement, Apple´s CEO Tim Cook said in a statement that Jobs´ vision for the Cupertino giant stretched far beyond his time in the company.

Also, he explained that the workspaces and parklands in Apple´s spaceship have been designed to inspire the team, as well as benefit the environment since the campus will run entirely on renewable energy. In addition to this spectacular detail, the building offers its workers two miles of walking and running paths, and orchard, meadow, and pond within the ring.
