Respawn Entertainment has revealed that a 6v6 pilot only mode for Titanfall 2 will be released tomorrow alongside a significant content drop for the game. The new mode has been dubed Live Fire and it will pit smaller teams of players against one another without the game’s signature mech-robots. Players will be forced to rely on their abilities and wits as one of the game’s pilots.
Fans of the game Titanfall 2 will be able to take part in the 6v6 pilot only mode tomorrow. They will also receive two mode-specific maps called Meadows and Stacks, a bonus Coliseum map called the Columns, featured playlists, a brand new execution that is named Last Hit, balance patches and more. There will also be a mixtape style matchmaking. The announcement regarding the Live Fire update’s release was made in Titanfall 2’s official website.
Players of the game should take note that the matchmaking menu for Titanfall 2 will have a complete overhaul. After the update is applied, fans will be able to create their own personalized modes. Also, the new modes will be swapped out each by Respawn Entertainment for their Featured Playlists. Some of the modes will be rewarding players with double XP just for checking the playlists out, as published by GameRant.
There will be a large patch that is included in the update. This will bring a lot of game changes and fixes among other things. The patch notes will be provided online at the release as well as the multiplayer menu's frequently asked questions. New faction leader dialogues are also added for the game. In addition, to celebrate, the studio is also hosting a double XP weekend tomorrow through Monday, Feb 27. The XP bonus will only be granted to those who are playing Live Fire mode, as reported by VG 24/7.
