The latest episode of "The Flash" Season 3 showed Barry and the rest of Team Flash being deceived by Grodd. The next episode will show Grodd and his gorilla army marching into Earth-1 in what is expected to be an epic war.
During episode 13, Barry, Cisco, Caitlin, and Julian learned that Harry was kidnapped and brought to Earth-2. In order to save him, they traveled to Gorilla City, only to find out that they were trapped, and it's all part of Grodd's plan, Vulture said.
Grodd Only Wanted To Take Over Solovar's Power And Gorilla City's Army
He lied to Barry so that the latter would fight Solovar, with the promise that if he defeats him, he would let them go. Barry won against Solovar, but he soon learned that Grodd was lying. He only wanted to assume Solovar's power so he could control Gorilla City and its army to raid Earth-1.
And this is going to be the premise of "The Flash" Season 3 episode 14. Titled "Attack On Central City," Grodd and his army return to Central City, Mic said. Another twist to the plot is Grodd using Gypsy to open a breach to Earth-1.
Next Week's Episode Is A Two-Part Arc
So for the next episode, fans can expect Barry and Wally to be in their suits as they fight these uninvited guests. It is going to be a "Planet of the Apes" type of invasion since apparently, gorillas are going to try to raid Central City.
Next week's episode is going to be a two-part arc, and to stop Grodd and his deadly army, Barry is going to need the help of Kid Flash, Jesse Quick, and Vibe. The speedsters will also be getting assistance from the police, thanks to Joe, but are they strong enough to face Grodd's army?
The official synopsis of "The Flash" Season 3 episode 14 says: "The epic conclusion to the two-part battle with Grodd: When Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov) and his army of gorillas bring the battle to Earth-1, The Flash (Grant Gustin) and team must find a way to stop them before they destroy Central City. Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) returns to join the fight. Meanwhile, Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) decides she wants to stay with Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) on Earth-1."
