There has been so much anticipation about the forthcoming DLC for Tom Clancy's The Division. It's called the Last Stand. Along with it is the introduction of update 1.6, a patch deemed to bring features and whatnots. Finally, a release date has been revealed for both the expansion and update.
According to GamingBolt, the aforementioned Tom Clancy's The Division DLC will be released on February 28th. Together with the content, the update 1.6 will also go live. It's worth noting that the downloadable content will be the last in the game's Season Pass.
As expected, Tom Clancy's The Division servers will be shut down by Ubisoft for a certain period of time. It's basically a regular maintenance, which will pave the way for the update and the DLC. It's scheduled to commence from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM CET. The good catch here is that the studio plans to release both of them together on all platforms -- namely, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The announcement of the release date of Tom Clancy's The Division update 1.6 and Last Stand was made via the game's official Twitch channel. Apart from it, the video game company unveiled the upcoming 24-hour charity stream. It's intended for the MS International Federation. The latter will go live along with the aforesaid streaming.
Tom Clancy's The Division update 1.6 is said to bring improvements and optimization on the game's servers. This is to upgrade its performance, as the new DLC arrives. Moreover, it's being enhanced for the betterment of the game's version on Sony's console. Players on the latter are expected to receive better scaling and higher resolution.
The full patch notes of the above-mentioned Tom Clancy's The Division update is slated to arrive come February 27. While Ubisoft iterated in the past that possible changes may take place, the update isn't entirely different from the one released on the game's PTS (Public Test Server). This is definitely going to be an interesting event for the fans of the titular title.
