Looking a new Chromebook? Well, the Samsung Chromebook Plus is now being retailed at Google Store for only $449 with a $20 Google Play Store credit included.

Samsung Chromebook Plus: Designed To Compete With Midrange Windows Laptops

As reported, the $449 retail price and the $20 Google Play Store credit is a clear statement that is designed to compete with midrange Windows laptops. It is also worth mentioning that most Chromebooks are inexpensive and lacking in hardware, because Chrome OS doesn't really need a lot of power.

Specs And Features Of The Samsung Chromebook Plus

The Samsung Chromebook is a hybrid laptop that can also act as a tablet thanks to the 360-degree hinge. It has a beautiful and stunning Quad-HD touchscreen made of durable Gorilla Glass 3, which looks great up close and from afar with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The LED screen measures 12.3 inches with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1600 pixels.

Its body dimensions are 11.04 x 8.72 x 0.55 inches and weighs 2.38 lbs. It runs on Chrome OS packed with a Hexa-core processor clocked at 2 GHz. It features 32 GB internal memory with 4 GB of RAM. It also has an expandable memory option and is powered by a 5140 mAh battery that could give its owner around 6-8 hours of battery life, depending on the usage. Since the device is from Samsung, the Chromebook Plus comes with its own Stylus, which is quite handy.

The Chromebook Plus has great keyboard. However, its trackpad is not really the best out there but is alright. In addition, the speakers are a bit tiny and located at the bottom, so placing the laptop on the lap could muffle up the sound.
