Jeep has revealed its latest new car models, which perfectly works with Apple's CarPlay infotainment features. The fourth generation of the new 2017 Jeep Compass has Uconnect system, which features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
CarPlay Infotainment: Uconnect System Application
The Uconnect Access App can start the engine, and lock or unlock the vehicle. It offers new services like Send Destination to Vehicle and Find Vehicle. The "Assist" button can control the rearview mirror. It also offers a "Vehicle Finder," which helps to locate the vehicle, as per Uconnect.
2017 Jeep Compass And Apple CarPlay
According to 9 To 5 Mac, the 2017 Jeep Compass is equipped with the Uconnect System that operates with 7.0, 8.4 or 8.4 NAV touchscreen systems, which offers a pinch-and-zoom capability. The U connect System can be monitored via an Uconnect Access App.
The 2017 Jeep Compass is the first new Jeep model to add Apple CarPlay. The CarPlay enables Uconnect 4.0 platform, which is similar to the new Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger models.
It comes with AUX audio input jack, USB on Faceplate for Uploading Files and Navigation with Enhanced Features. It also offers an iPod Control via Touchscreen. Furthermore, it sports a Bluetooth Streaming Auto and Uconnect Voice Command. It also comes with SiriusXM Guardian, which is helpful in an emergency.
Apple CarPlay
CarPlay is the safer way to use your iPhone in the car. It features making calls and sending messages, as well as receiving messages. It can manage functions that allow Siri voice control, which can control the car's knobs, buttons, touchpad, or touchscreen.
Every major automobile manufacturer currently offers models that support CarPlay or is planning to introduce them. It features maps that can search locations, like the route for nearby gas stations, restaurants and coffee shops.
