It seems that after the finale episode of "Game of Thrones" season 7, the next season will follow right after. This leak came from a star of the hit TV show when she shared some of her comments. Therefore, fans can expect that this long-running hit TV series will still be on the airwaves for the foreseeable future.

Sophie Turner Made Some Comments About The Show's Season 7 And 8

Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark in "Game of Thrones" season 7 relayed some of her views about her role in "X-Men: Supernova" and quite naturally also made mention of her role in the TV show. She said that she'll be appearing in season 8 for what is dubbed as the show's final year. Turner also stated that she had to keep her schedule clear for season 8 of the show. That means she will still be a cast member of season 8.

The Showrunners Made Hints About The Show's Probable Release Date

As for the release date of "Game of Thrones" season 7, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, showrunners, have explained the delay. They said that they can't finish shooting until February which is the current month. The two added that there is also no way to finish their post-production. Finally, they said there is no way for them to release the show until summer.

Here Are Some Story Plot Rumors

With regards to the story plot, there are a number of speculations as to how Cersei can be eliminated in "Game of Thrones" season 7. Some believe that Jaime will kill her sister. Their proof is the prophecy about Cersei which says it is the valonqar who will wring her neck and kill her. The word valonqar means "little brother."

Will The Hound Return In "Game of Thrones" season 7?

In a related development, Ian McShane leaked the story plot of the show when he said that a much-loved character who everybody assumed is dead will return to the show. Some fans believe that it will be The Hound. However, McShane reminded the fans not to be too closely hinged on "Game of Thrones" season 7 and to think about their own lives.
