The newest title released by Guerilla Games takes players in a fascinating world dominated by humongous and hostile robots. With its open-world nature, Horizon: Zero Dawn offers myriad of approaches in progressing through the game but it's always wise to aim for the best, isn't it? And so, here's the perfect guide on how to obtain the best weapons currently for each class.
Horizon Zero Dawn: Three Best in Slot Weapons
For the most part, roaming across the world filled with vivid sceneries might get a little troublesome if one does not possess the best gears and equipment in the game and so, to provide new players the best gaming experience they could have, here's how one can get the best in slot weapons in Horizon: Zero Dawn.
There are three weapons available via reward from the quest Weapons of the Lodge - each of which is the best in slot for each respective class. These weapons vastly increase the player's reload and aim speed and is of a lot better than the Shadow variant weapons. These weapons will also enable players to free up a mod slot for an additional boost of damage.
The only drawback about obtaining these items is that it may take a little while before one can reap the rewards. This is because Weapons of the Lodge Quest entails series of long quest chains and aside from that, the quest itself should be unlocked via completing several tasks. Here is the overview of the entire process:
Horizon Zero Dawn: Weapons of The Lodge Quest
First off, players must head to any Hunting Grounds arena - these arenas are scattered all around the game and the nearest one can be found within Nora Lands; outside the starting area of Mother's Embrace. Once there, talk to the Keeper about the Hunting Lodge. The NPC will then provide errands, which require players to complete several challenges. Upon doing so, players will unlock several chain quests including the Weapons of the Lodge.
In order to complete the aforementioned quest, players will have to finish all Hunting Grounds challenges. It's worth noting that there are five Hunting Grounds in the game - each of which offers three challenges with three tiers of completion. Each tier corresponds to how much time the player has finished the challenge. Challenges that are finished within 20 minutes or so will reward a Half Sun. Once the player finished quicker, he is then rewarded with a Full Sun. The last tier provides a Blazing Sun.
In order to unlock the best weapon for the corresponding class, the player must obtain 15 Half Suns, 15 Full Sun, and 15 Blazing Suns. Check out some tips about the entire process here.
