Amid his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt has reportedly reached out to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston via text.
The reports suggest that the well-known exes are back in communication with each other once again, with Pitt reaching out to his former wife in the aftermath of his recent divorce issue from wife Angelina Jolie.
They were married for five years before breaking up. The breakdown of their marriage was played out publicly, with Pitt still married when he met his second (and now soon to be ex-) wife Angelina Jolie on the set of their 2005 movie Mr & Mrs. Smith.
Aniston's Birthday Triggers The Event
Us Weekly reports that they've started communicating again in recent weeks. Seemingly, Pitt didn't have Aniston's number anymore but he managed to track it down through common friends. The intention is just to send his greetings on her 48th birthday back on February 11.
"They started talking since after he wished her a happy birthday," an insider told the publication on Wednesday, March 1.
Brad Found Comfort To His Ex
Pitt, 53, is currently in the middle of a custody fight with Jolie over the living provisions concerning their six children - Maddox (15), Pax (13), Zahara (12), Shiloh (10) and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. He "has confided in Jen," the insider added. "Brad told her he's having a hard time with his current situation and they exchanged a few texts recollecting their past."
But how all of this will be absorb with Aniston's husband Justin Theroux? The pair has been married for two years, and apparently, they jetted to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for a getaway, double celebrating her birthday and Valentine's Day. "Justin is okay with about the thing being friends," assures the insider. "Jen just wants to be nice."
