The notion was brought up just recently when she went on Bloomberg’s “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations”. Probably everyone has been begging her to run for years now and their wish might just come true.
Oprah Winfrey Rethinks Possibility of Running for President
The Bloomberg show premiered its second season with Oprah Winfrey opening to an idea that everybody will probably welcome. It was brought up that if Oprah decided to run, she would most likely get elected because of her influence and immense popularity. As soon as the word was out, a lot has already expressed their support for her and would even back her up in the next presidential race against Donald Trump.
The American talk show host and philanthropist admitted that she is actually reconsidering it now because it turns out, she doesn’t even need experience in governing to be elected president of the United States. This was the case with the current U.S. president. Trump was elected into office without having any solid political background. He expressed his interest in running for president for several years and even as governor of New York but he never did.

Her show, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” is one of the longest-running shows in history and is the highest rated talk show in America, reaching more than 4,000 episodes and attracting millions of loyal viewers all over the world.
But Oprah Winfrey didn’t get to be one of the most powerful and influential person in the world by simply being on TV but because she has admirable qualities that make her a great leader. Aside from dreaming big and making it happen, she values community and ensures that people can relate to her just like the way she understands others and their situations. Given her past, she leads by example and she makes sure to convey her visions and ideals to continuously inspire people and give hope.
