Earlier today, Hi-Rez Studios revealed a brand new Frontline champion called Inara. She is dubbed as The Stone Warden, which is equipped by a Stone Spear as primary weapon. As recalled, Inara has been leaked since the OB42 patch datamining. Now, she finally makes her arrival to the realm.
As seen on the patch notes posted on Paladins' Reddit page, all of Inara's abilities were detailed. With Stone Spear (LMB), she will fire three continuous projectiles dealing a maximum of 225 damage each. Her Earthen Guard (RMB) allows players to enter defensive state with a 30 percent damage reduction on both Inara and her deployables for five seconds.
Inara's Impasse (Q) will build a rock wall blocking both the enemies and weapons. Meanwhile, it is worth noting that the wall can be countered by buying the item Bulldozer and not Wrecker since it is considered as deployable. Impasse can also give all the Champions, including Inara, verticality, as the wall pushes them up. Furthermore, it also grants Inara mobility.
Next is the Warder's Field (F). It deploys a stone that inflicts 30 damage each tick and slows the enemies that is inside the radius. Lastly, Inara's Seismic Crash (E) that allows Inara to throw her Stone Spear applying a two-second stun to the enemies. It is worth noting that it will pierce through shields, dealing AoE damage and has an unlimited range.
Aside from Inara's abilities, she also has three Legendary Cards prior to the new system implemented to the game. Inara's three cards are Mother's Grace, Treacherous Ground and Tremors.
Meanwhile, Tyra receives a Rare Skin Collection called the Baroness Tyra. The collection includes Head, Body and Weapon Skins, which are exclusively available on the Colossal Chest. Additionally, Androxus is getting some love with his new Exalted Collection. Unlike Tyra's Baroness, this collection can be purchased directly.
There are some changes made to the Test Queue. Two new maps called Arid and Dark Crossing is set to arrive prior to this patch. On the other hand, the previous map called Grotto is getting an update and will be added in the Test Queue as well.
Paladins OB45 patch is expected to be uploaded in the Live Server after several days of testing on the PTS.
