After a long wait since the last update, fans are happy to know that "iZombie" will finally air for Season 3. The information came after a photo teaser was posted on their official Facebook page. Because of this electrifying news, rumors about "iZombie" Season 3 new plot started to circulate online.
New Season, New Story
The CW's horror/medical drama is publicly coming back on our TV screens for a much-awaited 13-episode in their third season. As per ComicBook, the sequel will bring the series to an extremely new direction. The team will be facing a possible threat of a zombie annihilation. If that would be the case, then fans can guess a rebel-like plot in the new season.
CW will officially air Season 3 on April 4 at 9 P.M. Eastern Time. Even though that is still a month away, spoilers about the new season are already out. Some are speculating that Rose McIver's character, Liv Moore, will be cured of her zombified existence. Others are basing it from the poster released online introducing a more human figure of Liv.
But, contrary to circulated assumptions, CW officially released a synopsis of "iZombie" Season 3. As reported by ScreenCrush, fans will be in a war situation between humans and zombies in the upcoming season after a gruesome murder of a zombie family.
'iZombie' Season 3 Official Synopsis
In the upcoming season, Liv will learn that there are zombies walking in Seattle. It can be recalled that they thought there were only a few left in the area, but as it turns out, it's the other way around. In fact, there is a private military contractor hiring a small zombie army. The infantry, on the other hand, is preparing for the day humans learn of their survival.
Aside from learning about the zombies in Seattle, Liv, together with Clive (Malcolm Goodwin), will inspect a zombie family massacre. This, however, could lead to a human-zombie all-out-war in the third season. Also, expect Peyton (Aly Michalka) to find out more info about the main villain in the series as she tries to solve one of her cases.
Finally, the synopsis delivers that Liv will have a bunch of transformations in the upcoming season. She will eat the brains and take on the traits of a dominatrix, a DAREDEVIL-style stunt man, an office gossip, a preschool teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and a lot more. This alone makes the third season even more interesting than ever.
