Fans of Arianne Zucker will no longer see her in "Days Of Our Lives" after April 2017. The actress who portrayed the role of Nicole Walker on the TV series for almost 20 years will finally bow out soon. This news shocked many of her fans who have grown to love her character in the show.

Zucker Has Thought Of Leaving Two Years Ago

Zucker announced this week that she decided not to renew her contract with the NBC soap opera. Her contract is due to expire this coming April. The actress said in a recent interview that she contemplated leaving the show about two years ago. She admitted that there are thousands of girls who can take her job in one second.

She Was Formerly And Adult Film Star

According to some reports, Walker was known as an adult film star in 1998 but has grown in character since then. She was married to at least three men and got engaged with three more. A car crash killed her last love, Daniel Jonas. But he left her with a child, Holly who is now being cared for by a surrogate mother, Chole Lane.

Zucker Was Mentioned By Trump In The Last Presidential Elections

Walker got embroiled in the recent US presidential elections when a videotape of the then presidential candidate Donald Trump was released to the public. In that tape, Trump made some unwanted sexual remarks involving Walker to interviewer Billy Bush. But Walker tried to face the controversy with dignity by taking the high road.

Her Fans Are Disappointed About Her Departure

Her fans are naturally disappointed with her departure in "Days Of Our Lives." Other veterans of the show have left by being killed or being written off in the story plot. They include Theresa Donovan, Bo Brady, Will Horton, EJ DiMera and Sami Brady. It seems fans could not stand another mainstay of the show bowing out again. Some observers believe that the coming departure of Walker may hurt the show's ratings.
