The latest chapter of “My Hero Academia”, which is also known as “Boku No Hero Academia” has shown some progress since the previous chapter. It continues the meeting between Izuku Midoriya and Sir Nighteye. After some good news, Izuku meets new characters as he starts his internship.
Sir Nighteye Tests Izuku; Who Is Eri?
In “My Hero Academia” Chapter 128, Sir Nighteye continues to test Izuku of whether he was worthy of his One For All quirk or not. Because he hasn’t fully controlled his powers, Izuku gets toyed around and also because Sir Nighteye had a Foresight quirk, which helped him foresee the attacks and dodge them. Eventually, Sir Nighteye surprisingly agreed to take in Izuku as an intern and revealed that he has already decided on this even before Izuku arrived. Still, Sir Nighteye remains unconvinced that Izuku is a worthy bearer of All Might’s gift.
With Sir Nighteye’s office looking into criminal activities, Izuku has been assigned to track down a Yakuza member named Kisaki. While Izuku and his colleagues were checking out the streets, a young girl bumped into him. Kisaki then appears, calls out to the girl, who was named Eri, and tells her to not give the heroes any problem. “My Hero Academia” Chapter 129 will clearly explain these two new characters especially when Eri looked like she was looking for help and running away from Kisaki. Izuki might try to downplay the situation because aside from Kisaki looking like a strong person, they might lose track of Kisaki and Eri.
No “My Hero Academia” Chapter 129 Next Week
Unfortunately, it has just been announced that the next chapter of “My Hero Academia” manga series will be postponed. It was reported through Shueisa’s Weekly Shounen Jump that the said manga will not be appearing in the next issue. The reason why is because manga creator Kohei Horikoshi is reportedly ill and he is unable to comply with the new chapter. Kohei Horikoshi only took a one week leave so expect the manga to continue then, picking up with the appearance of Eri and Kisaki.
