The latest episode of “Dragon Ball Super” has revealed that a new match will commence in the next few episodes. The preview finally revealed who the cloaked character is, who happens to be Toppo. With a powerful ability, he might just head on to fight Vegeta.
Toppo Defeats Goku With An Annoying Power
The preview of “Dragon Ball Super” episode 82 was revealed in last week’s episode and shows that Toppo will be challenging Goku to a fight. Toppo is the leader of the Pride Troopers and he is part of the team that represents Universe 11. As shown in the preview, he goes against various forms of Goku and he somehow is able to withstand even Goku’s Super Saiyan Blue form.
Toppo has this ability to disperse and even absorb his opponent’s powers, doubling such power when he attacks. Given that he is the leader of the group and was even considered to become a God of Destruction, he can easily defeat Goku even with the latter’s strongest form. Goku is predicted to lose the match against Toppo because clearly he’s just not strong enough yet and the preview showed Goku struggling out of Toppo's grasp.
Vegeta Might Fight Toppo Instead
Given that Goku gets defeated by Toppo, there is a huge possibility that Vegeta instead will go against Toppo. Vegeta is expected to come into the “Dragon Ball Super” Universe Survival Arc when Goku gets to recruit new team members for the up and coming Tournament of Power. Vegeta's killer instincts will most likely make him a better opponent against Toppo as he is really good with combat, which is not susceptible to Toppo's power unless the latter has something else up his sleeve. This prediction also comes from the hints that the new opening of the said arc showed.
In the opening of “Dragon Ball Super” Universe Survival Arc, Goku is seen fighting an unnamed gray alien that the anime series has yet to introduce. For them to cross paths, Goku has to lose his fight against Toppo and Vegeta enters the picture to intervene. And with the Tournament of Power being held in the World of Void, Universe 7 team is most likely to concentrate on the opponents that give them the advantage.
