Conan Exiles Lacks An Interesting Feature On The Xbox One Version

Conan Exiles has received a fair amount of attention and controversy for including full nudity and even the ability to enhance private body parts. However, it seems like this certain feature will not be making its way to the Xbox One.

No Nudity For The Xbox One

According to Dual Shockers, creative director, Joel Bylos, clarified that the said feature will not be making its way to the console edition during GDC 2017. Moreover, he is not even sure if the partial nudity option, which only displays the chest area, would even be included in the Xbox One version.

Developer Funcom has yet to discuss the finer details with Microsoft about this and is unsure if the company will allow games with those features on their platform. On the other hand, Bylos did not make any comments towards the PS4 version but it seems likely that it will share the same stand as the Xbox One.

That aside, the creative director explained that they included the feature in the PC version because it is fun and players can easily toggle it on or off. This gives fans more options to express themselves through their avatar or opt to skip the mechanic entirely. Bylos claimed that it was even a fun experience for everyone involved as artist Jennie Saarinen had to surround herself with various "concept art" for three weeks to capture the human body.

Conan Exiles Delayed For The Microsoft Platform

On a different note, TrueAchievements reports that the Xbox One version of the game, which was slated to release in Q2 2017, is now delayed to Q3 of the same year. Funcom announced the initial details on Twitter and that the title will be available for the Game Preview program, which is similar to that of Steam's Early Access.

With this in mind, fans will still have the option to play the beta stage of the game. Fans can expect Funcom to reveal more information about their upcoming title soon. Conan Exiles will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
