Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Guide To Getting The Lord Of The Mountain Mount

The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of the Wild is such a large game that sometimes exploring or traveling is not only hard but it also takes a long time to do. Fortunately, Nintendo has anticipated this would be a problem and allowed players to use animals as mounts. This way, players can ride animals as a means of transportation to get around faster.

The Lord Of The Mountain

According to Twinfinite, the Lord of the Mountain is a special mystical looking creature that is shaped like a horse. While there are really good mounts in the game by the likes of Epona and Zelda's horse, the Lord of the Mountain beats these two in every stat of that amount. The Lord of the Mountain does not only boast its special looks and image but it also has the highest health, stamina, and speed in the game.

Before players plan to make the Lord of the Mountain into one of their mounts, they would need to have at least two full stamina bars and a lot of stamina potions. This is because the Lord of the Mountain takes a long time to break, so when a player sees that his stamina is almost out, they would need to consume immediately a stamina potion.

Locating And Taming The Lord Of The Mountain

In an article by RPG Site, the Lord of the Mountain spawns near the top of Mount Satori. Specifically, the player needs to find a cherry grove at the top of Mount Satori because this is where the Lord of the Mountain can be found. The long part is that the creature only spawns at night and even then, it doesn't spawn every single night. The only way for the player to know if the creature has spawned is if Mount Satori lights up with a blue-green kind of glow that can be seen for miles in the game.

When the Lord of the Mountain spawns, it will be surrounded by Blupees that produce rupees when hit, however tempting this may be, the player needs to keep their stealth in order for them not to spook the creature. At this point, players need to use all the stealth buffs they have to sneak behind the creature like any other potential mounts.

Once the player successfully tames the Lord of the Mountain, they can ride it as much as they want and also bring it wherever they want. However, the only downside is that the Lord of the Mountain cannot be registered at a stable so once the player gets off the creature, it will run off.
