Injustice 2 Update: Shattered Alliances Trailer Part 2 Reveals Additional Confirmed Characters

Previously, DC Entertainment launched a new trailer for Injustice 2 entitled Shattered Alliance, which shows how Superman became the greatest threat to Earth. Apparently, it appears that the company has launched another trailer that serves as a continuation of the previously released one. This time the video footage highlights several new characters that are set to arrive to the game.

According to The Bitbag, Green Arrow was shown for the first time, while Green Lantern receives a fair amount of screen time. Both characters were expected to arrive since they also appeared on the first Injustice game. Meanwhile, the video footage does not only highlight the heroes but several villains, which made their first appearance in the trailer.

Though fans never saw them fight, however, both Captain Cold and Bane are two of these latest confirmed additions. Fans have also seen Reverse Flash, known as the arch nemesis of The Flash. It is said that he will be an alternate skin for The Flash. Meanwhile, an upcoming character reveal is scheduled for tomorrow. That means fans might see at least one of these characters involved in a fight.

Similar to Doctor Fate, the arrival of Captain Cold to Injustice 2 was expected by fans. Cold was not known outside the comic book. However, that changed after CW's "The Flash". The villain rose to popularity after his initial appearances and even received a lead role in DC's "Legends of Tomorrow."

Meanwhile, Bane is making his comeback from the first game. It is expected that the Injustice 1 version of Bane will be similar to the sequel's version. He has a new costume and perhaps a brand new finisher. However, Bane supporters should not expect him to be different.

Lastly, Reverse Flash is an alternate skin for regular Flash, coming with a different voice actor. The skin is one of the bonuses from the Ultimate Edition. It also includes several skins for Supergirl called Powergirl and Green Lantern (John Stewart) as Hal Jordan Green Lantern skin. The Reverse Flash is expected to have similar moves with the regular Flash. However, with different puns that should please fans.
