NBA Playoff Updates: Shaq Slams Durant; Why Should GSW Reset Its Starters?

The NBA regular season is almost over. Some of the teams have secured their playoff spots already, while others are still battling for it. Golden State Warriors will be the first team who clinched the NBA playoffs this year and they need to rest their starters.

There is no secret that the Golden State Warriors is one of the favorites to win the NBA title this year. The addition of former MVP Kevin Durant not only adds another offensive threat in their star-studded lineup, but it also provides versatility in the defensive area. No disrespect to Cleveland Cavaliers, who are the defending champions, but if Cavs fail to stop the small ball rotation of the Warriors, NBA fans might see a new champion crowned in June.

Time To Reset Golden State Warriors Starters

The worst fear of any NBA player fans, particularly Golden State Warriors fans, is to see their best players getting injured. Kevin Durant got injured while playing against the Washington Wizards. Zaza Pachulia hit Kevin Durant’s knees invertedly. Durant reportedly has a hyperextend knee and doctors stated that Durant will miss the rest of the regular season. The Warriors got nothing to prove right now as they are guaranteed to be in the playoffs.

Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are getting loads of minutes in the past games. It was evident in their last 10 games, the GSW Star Players are getting tired already. Even the best shooter that NBA has ever seen is also missing a lot of open shots. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson did admit that in some games, they are just misfiring, but for the other games, the players cannot feel their legs.

Shaq Slams Durant

The conflict between Shaq and Javale McGee is over, as the Big Aristotle put an end on it. However, it did not stop Shaq in slamming Durant. When Shaq and Javale took their “fight” to another level, Kevin Durant chimed in. KD stated that Shaq is wrong and Shaq did have some mistakes in his career as well. Shaq then stated that the era where NBA is right now is very soft and the players are very sensitive.
