Best Samsung Galaxy S8 Alternatives You Can Buy Soon

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was highly expected to have its debut at the MWC event in Barcelona last month. In lieu, Samsung has decided to host a separate event on March 29 to officially reveal the new phone. However, several hot Android handsets offer compelling features that come at a very reasonable cost, from the return of BlackBerry, LG G6 Killer features and Sony's award-winning Xperia XZ.

BlackBerry KeyOne: Crowd's Favorite "Physical Keyboard"

Another big announcement at MWC 2017 was the full reveal of the BlackBerry KeyOne, a smartphone formerly known as "Mercury." After being teased to great welcoming at CES 2017, TCL and BlackBerry officially unveiled the device on stage at MWC. The KeyOne is a 4.5-inch display that runs on top of a Snapdragon 625 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage. You can long press to launch your favorite apps, flick up on the keyboard to accept suggestions or to speed up typing and even use it as a touchpad for scrolling through emails or websites. Interestingly, the space bar doubles as the fingerprint reader.

LG G6: Big Screen in Small Package

This smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch QHD+ FullVision display and is said to be the first smartphone that supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 tech. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with of 4GB RAM, the LG G6 cameras come with a dual rear camera setup. The setup has two 13-megapixel sensors, one for wide-angle shots and a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 100-degree lens. It has a battery capacity of 3300mAh and has IP68-rating for dust and water resistance. The first ever LG phone was launched with the new UX 6.0. and is indeed a gorgeous screen, offering sharp quad HD plus resolution combined with HDR support (the same tech found on the latest TVs) for eye-popping color.

Sony XZ Premium: Best New Smartphone 2017

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is Sony's new flagship packed with an excellent innovation in the screen. This smartphone has a size of a 5.5-inch 4K display with HDR. The XZ Premium is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, runs the latest Android 7.1.1, and there's top-end water resistance as well. Ultimately, its camera is superb. The Motion Eye technology has its own flash memory, allowing super-slow motion captures at 960 frames per second.
