There was a noticeable Day One patch for the upcoming Early Mass Effect Andromeda, and pre-load subscribers were the first one to notice it. The patch is around 2GB in size. On the other hand, Mass Effect Andromeda lead designer Ian Frazier has made a confirmation that the change in the game's difficulty level will not offer bonuses aside from its challenging play through.
As what can be seen in Frazier's Twitter post, a higher difficulty play in Mass Effect Andromeda will not offer any bonuses. The players could get the best out of it if they will be receiving an achievement or they can have bragging rights if they can clear the game at a higher difficulty setting. Mass Effect Andromeda has a combat system that is characterized by a third-person shooter. It also has some complimentary gadgets, skills, and abilities that can be used to defeat the enemies. Players can level up the difficulty once the enemies die fast, and it can slightly pose any threat into the missions of the player.
According to The BitBag, Frazier has also made an added confirmation that Mass Effect Andromeda Day One patch will indeed be coming. Players who have not pre-loaded Mass Effect Andromeda should be able to prepare for this update right after they start the game on March 21. Because the game is not yet released, it remains to be seen if the Day One patch will affect anything until the game's release.
As what is confirmed on the official Mass Effect website, there will be an early access trial that will be available for Origin Access and EA Access members. The trial will be active for just 10 hours from March 16. It will allow the players to make explorations on the first planet in single-player. In addition, it will give full access to the multiplayer mode.
