The latest "Naked and Afraid" Season 7 recap revealed the terrible plight that Giovanna, 31, and Wes, 40 has experienced in Ecuador. They are trying to survive at least 21 days to get the prize. However, it seems nature has something else prepared for the partner.
Fans can expect a lot from the recent season of "Naked and Afraid". This new season has taken the survival challenges to a higher level. A man and a woman, complete strangers, are thrown together in the wilds to survive for at least the next 20 days.
The First Day Could Be A Breeze
On their first day in Ecuador, Giovanna chose a mosquito net as her first survival item. Wes chose a fire starter and both got naked. They chose a place near the river for their campsite. Wes started a fire as they survive their first day. However, things will start to go downhill after that.
The Succeeding Days Could Turn Out Nasty
The next day, they were able to eat some fruits that they have picked from a tree. Wes dug a well for their drinking water. However, as the night came, the temperature went down. Wes spent the whole night tending the fire. This act worried Giovanna, as Wes could overwork himself and won't last the duration of their stay.
Heavy Rains Flooded Their Camp
Disaster came the next day. Both of them woke up to heavy rains and they were not able to go out. Giovanna and Wes were not feeling very well. However, they still have to hunt for food. From this day on, Wes had his thoughts whether to stay or to leave the competition. He was eventually taken back to civilization leaving Giovanna alone in the night.

Giovanna tried to stay and complete the 21-day duration but a storm just wouldn't allow her to accomplish her mission. In her 19th day in Ecuador, she was feeling weak, alone, and cold in her camp. The storm flooded the river, and the show's crew had to evacuate her before her life was endangered. She was just two days short of her goal.
