Nokia 3 vs Nokia 5 vs Nokia 6: What's The Difference?

The Nokia 3, 5, and 6 were featured at the 2017 Mobile World Congress. Though these smartphones run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, they are offered an affordable price range ranging from 130 to 300 Euros with amazing mid-range specs and features.

The Design

Among the three Nokia phones, only the Nokia 3 features physical capacitive keys beneath its display and doesn't have a fingerprint scanner. As for the Nokia 5 and 6, both smartphones have a fingerprint scanner embedded in its home button.

The Nokia 3's features a plastic back with metal surround. The Nokia 5 features a rounded metal back. Lastly, the Nokia 6 features a rear design which has reminiscent to the likes of the Nokia Lumia 930.

The Display

The Nokia 3 features a 720p 5-inch IPS LCD display. The Nokia 5 features a 720p 5.2-inch IPS LCD display. Lastly, the Nokia 6 features a full HD 5.5-inch IPS LCD display. Given that the Nokia 6 has a full HD display, its screen offers more colors, more brightness, more contrast and least color distortion.

The Platform And Internal Memory

All of the said phones run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. However, only the Nokia 3 packs a Mediatek MT6737 chip, while both the Nokia 5 and 6 packs a Snapdragon 430 chipset.

The Nokia 3 and 5 features 16 GB with 2 GB of RAM, while the Nokia 6 features 32 GB with 3 GB of RAM. However, there is also a "Nokia 6 Arte Black Limited Edition" which features 64 GB with 4 GB of RAM. All phones are reported to have microSD card support of up to 256 GB.

The Camera And Battery

The Nokia 3 features a rear and front camera with 8 MP. The Nokia 5 features a 13 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera. Lastly, the Nokia 6 features a 16 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera.

The Nokia 3 is powered by a 2,650 mAh battery. As for the Nokia 5 and 6, both smartphones are powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

Pricing And Launch Date

The Nokia 3 is reported to cost around 130 Euros ($138.11). The Nokia 5 is said to be priced at around 190 Euros ($201.85). The Nokia 6 around 240 Euros ($254.97), while the Nokia 6 Arte Black is said to cost 300 Euros ($318.71). The said devices are set to launch in Q2 2017.
