The 2017 Camaro ZL1 is the sixth generation iteration of a classic. The sixth generation Camaro first came out in 2015. Back then it was much smaller, but a larger version of it was bound to come out soon. That one is the 2017 Camaro ZL1.

The Camaro ZL1 has a 6.2 liter LT4 V8 engine that has a supercharger. That gives the car 650 hp of raw power. That is more than what most can handle, but would be a joy for those who want a powerful car that can deliver.

The Camaro ZL1 isn't just for drag racing anymore. Quarter mile racing is exciting, but the new Camaro has more to it than that, or less in some instance. It has less weight than the previous variant. With 200 lbs. less weight, power-to-weight ratio has been improved. That would mean a faster car, and in just 3.5 seconds it can go up to 60 mph. In just 11.2 seconds it can reach 127 mph.

Shifting is also much easier, as its 10-speed automatic transmission can shift smoothly in 30 milliseconds, according to CNet. It offers different driving modes as well to give drivers different ways of experiencing it. Auto shifting though can be an issue in some instances, such as going in and out of sharp turns.

Ultimate driving pleasure still comes with the manual, but the ZL1 does not come with one yet, as Car and Driver noted. Still, Sport and Track modes can give those who want more speed enough power to use. With so much power on it, the Camaro ZL1 will not disappoint those who want more.
