BioWare's Mass Effect: Andromeda will grant their players some exclusive items upon pre-ordering the game. These items can be essential in earlier parts of playing the game. However, most of these bonus items won't arrive directly and be added to each player's inventory.
The Official Mass Effect: Andromeda's website said that both Super and Deluxe Editions of the game offer exclusive items such as boosts, equipment and other things which can be useful early on. However, players are required to progress until they gained access to the Tempest for these single-players items to be claimed.
On the other hand, the Standard version of the game also offers exclusive pre-order items. It includes Nomad Skin, Deep Space Explorer Armor and a Multiplayer Booster Pack. Although, it is clear that both Deluxe and Super Editions offer more items for the players.
The items included in both deluxe editions are Nomad Skin, Deep Space Exploration Armor, Multiplayer Booster Pack, Scavenger Armor, Pathfinder Casual Outfit, Pet Pyjak, 4 Pathfinder Elite Weapon Set, Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack, Digital Soundtrack and Multiplayer Super Deluxe Booster Packs which is exclusive to Super Deluxe Edition.
Players will be defrosted out of cryosleep at the beginning of the game to wake up the Pathfinder to perform his mission. The game's DLC equipment would not be accessible during this time. Before gaining access to the Tempest, new players will first take a tour to the game's hub world and prologue mission.
It was confirmed by the game's lead designer Ian Frazier, through his Twitter account, that players could claim these items to the Tempest. Additionally, players are tasked to find the Special Delivery terminal to take these items and start using them. Meanwhile, those who pre-ordered the Standard Edition also received several pre-ordered items. They are highly recommended to ask for the codes on their respective retailers if they were not given any.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
