The files for Mass Effect: Andromeda's supported platforms for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have already been revealed, since some of the fans have already reported the pre-loading feature of the game way before its release date next week. It was revealed through the title's PC specs that this sci-fi shooter is meant to consume at least 55GB of memory space on PC while its PS4 version is 42.9GB in size, as well as 42.19GB for the Xbox One.
As what can be noticed in the tweets from two dedicated Mass Effect: Andromeda fans (@DOBRO96 and @Hasemo), it seems like a few of those who are already done purchasing the game have started pre-loading the title into their platforms. On the contrary, some of the fans have claimed that they are presently unable to pre-load Andromeda into their systems. Since the progress may be taken aback based on the players' location, this remains as a speculation as of now.
As of now, BioWare has not yet officially declared the ability for fans to download the Mass Effect: Andromeda. However, since a lot of fans are ringing out online about their capacity or incapacity to make this possible, the developer seems to be making an announcement about this sooner or later, as per Game Rant.
It is just natural that Mass Effect: Andromeda's file size will be given to players ahead so that they will have an idea as to how big the storage space is needed to free up so that the game can be installed on their hard drive. It is also important to take note that BioWare has already made a day one patch under development. As of now, the studio has not yet revealed as to how big the memory will be required for this patch; however, the launch date update for Andromeda is expected to be available anytime this week.
