Josh Duggar Receives Lawsuit For Stealing Identity For His Ashley Madison Cheating Website Account

Former "19 Kids and Counting Star" Josh Duggar is reportedly sued by the owner of the photo that he used for his Ashley Madison cheating website account back in 2015. A publication claims to have acquired a copy of the court summon letter served to him last week where he is being obliged to appear in court in May.

Just after Josh and Anna Duggar announced a blessing coming to their lives, another bad news is served before them as the eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle has been invited to appear in court on May 15. In Touch Magazine released on Wednesday a copy of the supposed court summons that josh Duggar received last March 13 while he was at work.

The lawsuit came after Matthew McCarthy filed a formal complaint against Josh Duggar who used his photos as a front on multiple dating websites like Ashley Madison and OKCupid. Charges against the reality star include the wrongful use of his image and damages.

McCarthy who also happens to be a popular DJ in Los Angeles has reportedly suffered from the misuse of his identity. He claims to have received multiple harassing messages for allegedly patronizing several cheating websites. He also revealed that he lost his job from the scandal and is now seeking for justice for carrying a load of mistake that he did not do.

An alleged source told the publication that the Duggars, especially Jim Bob, Michelle, and Josh are "terrified" of the harms that the lawsuit will bring to the family's reputation. The family is also said to worry about the secrets they hold that might be unfolded as soon as the court starts hearing the case. Furthermore, the source believes that the lawyers of McCarthy might force the rest of the Duggars to reveal more about the inappropriate sexual behavior of Josh as well as the cover-up they did to conceal the scandals.

For the uninitiated, Josh Duggar admitted to molesting five girls during his teenage years in 2015. The scandal caused his family to lose their TLC show "19 Kids and Counting" where producers of the series immediately backed out as soon as the acts were exposed. Another shocking news though came out only a few months after the scandal where Josh's infidelity was discovered.

Josh Duggar admitted to cheating on Anna in August 2015. An Ashley Madison hack revealed that the 29-year-old Duggar used his credit card to open accounts on the extra-marital dating site. He then referred to himself as the "biggest hypocrite" since he has been secretly involving himself in malicious acts while espousing faith and family values.
