'Boruto: Next Generations:' Here's What To Expect

While a lot of avid "Naruto Shippuden" fans are saddened about the anime series finally coming to an end after years of offering its amazing and breathtaking brand of entertainment, they will also be treated to a new anime series that will still be reminding them of their favorite characters in Naruto Shippuden. After the final episode, the well-loved anime series will be replaced by "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," which will follow the adventures of Naruto's son, Boruto.

About Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

According to Ecumenical News, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is going to be set a few years after the 4th Great Ninja War, which was featured in the manga adaptation of "Naruto." By this time period, Naruto is already married to Hinata, the princess of the Hyuga clan, with whom he has a son named Boruto.

Previous Feature Of Boruto

But even before the new series would begin, Boruto was already featured in his very own movie, which was released in 2015. Additionally, last year, Boruto was also given his very own spin-off manga series, whose first story arc just concluded last month.

The next upcoming chapter 11 of the manga series will now feature a new story arc, featuring a now-teenage version of Boruto after defeating the previous villain, the Otsutsuki Momoshiki. It is also predicted that the manga version of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will be featuring Boruto becoming stronger and even more powerful than his father, Naruto, as the curse mark left by Momoshiki is said to awaken his untouched Byakugan bloodline.

New Boruto Anime Will Be Different

According to Kotaku, while events in the manga series of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" are going to be action-packed and exciting, it has also been reported earlier that fans are expecting that the manga adaptation of the Naruto spin-off series will also be featured in the upcoming "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" anime. It is also expected to as have its very own unique storyline that has never been seen nor featured on either the movie or in the manga.
