Robert Pattinson addressed Kristen Stewart's "Saturday Night Live" comments about their past relationship. He also called out to Pres. Donald Trump during an interview regarding his previous tweets on his ex-girlfriend's cheating and kissing scandal.
"Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson recently entertained an interview with the German website WeltN24 to promote his new movie, "The Lost City of Z." However, the 30-year-old actor was not able to avoid his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart's comments about their relationship which Pres. Donald Trump reportedly obsessed on years ago.
Kristen Stewart shared last weekend about her sour history with the current president of United States. She said that she feels nervous about what she is about to say as she knows that Pres. Donald Trump is watching the episode. She then shared that the president made and effort to tweet about her relationship with Robert Pattinson which ended quickly after her scandal with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders surfaced.
"I don't think he likes me that much," Kristen Stewart claimed live during her "SNL" gig. "Four years ago I was dating this guy named Rob. Robert. We broke up and then we got back together, and for some reason it made Donald Trump go insane," she explained comically. She also recounted how the president referred to her as a dog and how she was bashed 11 times by Donald Trump on social media.
It can be recalled that Trump repeatedly tweeted about the Pattinson-Stewart break up in 2012. He then wrote: "Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog and will do it again, just watch. He can do much better!" He has also sent a series of other tweets convincing the actor to cut off Stewart from his life and even offered him "open invite" to the Miss Universe Pageant that year.
Following all these, Robert Pattinson called out to Pres. Donald Trump during his interview with the very brief statement that went: "I hope he has more interesting things to think about now." He did not comment on his ex lover's "SNL" monolog but an insider close to Pattinson said that he saw several snippets regarding Stewart's comments and reportedly found it hilarious. The source also said that Robert Pattinson is happy to see Kristen Stewart comfortably discussing their past romance.
