The Android version of the Nintendo's hit game Super Mario Run is now live, and fans on the Google-developed platform can enjoy what the game is offering. However, it seems like Nintendo is not done yet as they provide their fans daily log-in bonuses for two weeks span.
Game Rant reported that these bonuses would come in the form of items such as coins and Toad Rally tickets. The special offer officially starts last March 23 and will end on April 6. As a result, fans who are actively playing the game will receive the in-game rewards by just logging in every day. Meanwhile, this is not only the way of celebrating the launch of Super Mario Run to the Android devices but to encourage all players including those on iOS to play the game more regularly.
Apparently, it is not the first time players were swayed to play Super Mario Run more frequently along with tons of freebies. The report said that Nintendo had tried several ways previously to get players attached to the game. For instance, Nintendo previously offered 2,000 free coins to those players who spend to unlock the full version of the game or downloaded the game Fire Emblem Heroes.
On the other hand, the company announced a new update following Super Mario Run's release on Android. The update is slated in both Android and iOS devices. Though it brings many changes to the game, however, the most significant one is the addition of new playable characters.
Overall, it remains unclear whether the game will be able to breakthrough in the mobile market and perhaps will be put in the same category with other mobile game juggernauts such as Pokémon GO. As of now, it seems like Super Mario Run is in an excellent position for a long run since it is now available on both major mobile platforms.
