Funimation just dropped the bomb when they informed the media about the release of “My Hero Academia” Season 2 in English subs. Hulu and Crunchyroll will be responsible in streaming the series and fans are already excited about it.
‘My Hero Academia’ Will Be Available In Multiple Countries
For those who aren’t familiar with “My Hero Academia”, now is the chance for them catch up. This series is very popular in Japan other countries demanded it to be aired worldwide. “My Hero Academia” is a superhero manga series that has a distinctive twist on it. The series was released way back 2014 and to this day, their numbers are still racking up. Initially, the fans didn’t believe the announcement due to the way it was presented.

Legions of fans of Funimation knows that they are not a fan of releasing series with a corresponding sub on it. However, in a stunning event, Funimation Entertainment broke their rule which is giving international audiences what they want. The release of “My Hero Academia” season 2 will be on April 1 which is simultaneous in other countries like Ireland, Canada, U.S and U.K. The superhero series has one of the most loyal fans in Japan. As state by a respected magazine, when the series initially made its debut, it broke some records in viewership and sales.

Late last year, it was also reported that numerous cosplayers from Akihabara choose “My Hero Academia” over other characters. These fanatics came all over different regions in Japan and stated that “My Hero Academia” will surely be a threat to any series that is showing right now. Probably the best thing that Kōhei Horikoshi was able to do in his masterpiece is the uncanny way to mix comedy and fantasy. It is often compared to Super Sentai but avid fans strongly disagree.
