Hi-Rez Announces Smite Celestial Voyage Patch; Details Here

Hi-Rez Studios finally unveiled the details about the upcoming patch of its popular MOBA Smite. The future update, as previously reported, is set to bring a visual update for Poseidon. It is also said to bring a new mini-event for the Egyptian pantheon set.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, the Smite update 4.5 was revealed via live stream on the game's official YouTube channel. The stream offers the patch notes of the upcoming update. As seen on the notes, the Celestial Voyage patch highlights the addition of the features as mentioned earlier that is expected to arrive first on PC early this week.

The most anticipated remodel of Poseidon through his card art was highlighted in the upcoming Smite update. Furthermore, an upcoming in-game event is also expected to arrive. It is noted that Poseidon's Kraken also receives an update along with his recent remodel.

Smite's Celestial Voyage features four new skins for Bastet, Anhur, Neith and Kephri. Players will be given a Pedestal, Loading Frame, Music Theme and a new background loading screen when they complete the quests and purchase the Celestial Voyage skins. Players who buy every item and complete the quests in the event will be rewarded with an exclusive skin for Thoth.

Aside from the new in-game additions in Smite's latest patch, Hi-Rez Studios also brings some balance to the present characters such as Ares, Hercules, Jing Wei, Nemesis and more.

Ares' Shackles receives increased damage on his minions from 25/45/65/85/105 to 50/70/90/110/130. Hercules got an increased cooldown from 15 seconds to 17 seconds. Jing Wei's base stats have been buffed up, making his health increased from 72 to 78 per level while his movement speed was also increased from 365 to 370.

Nemesis can now be able to use Basic Attacks and Abilities amongst her first and second dash while her second dash has a two-second cooldown.

As for the new characters Ganesha and Da Ji, the PTS reveals some information such as their possible roles in the game. Smite is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
