Smite community is enjoying the patch notes for the upcoming 4.3 patch as it had gone live. The patch notes have concluded hours after, and this patch seems to be big since it gave the new game a new mode like Capture The Flag,
However, similar to every Smite patch, the 4.3 patch added an array of new skins into the game like the obscure Wizard skin for Guan Yu. This new skin replaced his regular horse with a Unicorn to a Final Fantasy-themed skin for Thanatos. On the other hand, the biggest inclusion when it comes to skin comes through the form of Dj Zeus. It is a highly in-demand community created skin which has unique effects for his abilities which include his ultimate.
The latest skins are the following: Zeus - Heaven's Rave, Thanatos - Final Boss, Nike - Conqueror, Susano - Swashbuckler, Guan Yu - Guan Unicorn. The last two skins can be obtained through a golden key that can be acquired by purchasing Nike's Valley of Victory bundle.
Other than the skins that are included in the patch, another main feature is its addition of the Capture The Flag. This mode will require two teams of five to fight against each other. Meanwhile, it should only be composed of particular gods due to balancing reasons. The gods are Anubis, Artemis, Hercules, Loki and Ymir, according to Attack of the Fan Boy.
The CTF game mode is indeed new for Smite's world, but its rules are not that new. It is quite simple if the player has ever played CTF in a different game than before. For a player to score, the player would need to steal the enemies' flag and return it back to the base. It should be noted that the flag should still be in the base. Smite's update is said to be first released on PC this coming Feb. 28. It will be released on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms a week after.
