Apple Releases iOS 10.3, macoS, watchOS and tvOS Updates

Apple has just released new updates for its four operating systems. The iOS 10.3, the macOS 10.12.4, the watchOS 3.2 and the tvOS 10.2 have all been made accessible across compatible devices. Nevertheless, some of these updates bring in more improvements over the others.

Starting with the iOS 10.3 for mobile, this new update brings in Find My Airpods to users. If the said audio tool is connected to an iOS device, the user can see where it is on a map. iOS users can also opt to play an alarm if their AirPod is hidden below stacks of objects, as per Tech Crunch. Additionally, the new update also allows people to see the last location where they used their AirPods. The iOS 10.3 has also brought in improvements to App Store ratings, Siri and Mail. Additionally, Apple is reportedly updating all iOS devices to a new file system called APFS.

In watchOS 3.2 on the other hand, Apple has finally updated the watch's Siri integration. Now, users can start using Siri with external apps just like what the iPhones and iPads can do. This means that Apple Watch users can get themselves a Lyft or contact someone via WhatsApp without having to leave their watches. The Theater Mode button has also been added to shut off the devices' display when the user is in a movie theater.

On macOS 10.12.4 on the other hand, the Night Shift has been added as a new feature, Apple Insider reported. This gives users a warmer set of colors at night to supposedly improve the users' sleep. As for tvOS 10.2, Apple did not bring in big-time improvements to the Apple TV. Instead, the company just brought in the long-overdue feature that allows users to rent a movie on an Apple device and access it on another.

So far, this sums up the four new updates that were released by Apple. Users are advised to do an iCloud backup before updating their devices, especially for iOS systems wherein there is a new file system update. iPhone and iPad users must head on to the Settings app to start the update while Mac users should check the Mac App store. Apple Watch users on the other hand should check on the Watch app on their iOS devices to update their Apple Watches.
