Pokemon GO: Here's How To Fix Some Bugs That Came With The Latest Patch

Pokémon GO has been littered with quite a few bugs ever since its recent update. Luckily enough, here are some makeshift steps that players can do to avoid some bugs altogether.

The latest patch in the mobile Pokémon game introduced some new and exciting content alongside a slew of glitches. Unfortunately, these bugs came with bad timing as many players are trying to complete the latest Water Festival event. In spite of this, Mic shares some things that players can do to avoid some of the annoying glitches that they are experiencing.

Some Simple Solutions In Pokémon GO

To begin with, one of the most common glitches is the sightings tab and the radar going blank. This serves as a major problem as fans will lose track of all of the nearby monsters. For this, players can just go to the Journal tab and then exit, which should reset the sightings tab.

The latest patch also comes with a new warning that alerts players when their GO gadget is running out of battery. If the app fails to connect with the device, fans must simply swap out the old batteries. The chances are that the app failed to inform the player and the old batteries are already expired.

Moving on, fans have claimed that the Pokémon gym models are not loading correctly and instead appear as a Substitute doll. The easiest solution for this is to simply wipe the cache data or local data so that the game can recall the correct models.

Problems That Lie With Niantic

On the other hand, some fans are reporting some lag issues when Pokémon show up on the map or during slow encounters. Similarly, there have also been instances where the game crashes for Android users when they scroll through a gym too quickly or when they check out another person's custom avatar. Unfortunately, this problem lies with Niantic and there are no user fixes for this bug.

Despite the large number of glitches that users are facing, it seems like Niantic might be working on a fix that will come through future patches. Fans can play Pokémon GO by downloading the game for free on the iOS App Store or Google Play.
