As if Dark Souls 3 could not get any harder; one player, apparently, managed to toy against the toughest bosses such as Abyss Walkers and Ludex Gundyr using nothing but a steering wheel! How daring can one be? Check out this popular streamer that recently completed Dark Souls 3 without relying on a standard joystick.
Dark Souls 3 : Steering Wheel Daredevil
FromSoftware's action role-playing game is popular for its realistic visuals and intricate battle system, which led many to believe that it is one of the most challenging RPGs to beat. But is it really that hard? Well, today, a popular streamer by the name of ATwerkingYoshi has proven that the game can be beaten without relying on a traditional controller. Yes, the guy successfully beat not just Abyss Walkers and Ludex Gundyr but also the dreaded Dancer of Boreal Valley.
Recently, the gaming community on Reddit was astonished after a streamer successfully beat the final boss of Dark Souls 3 using a simple steering wheel as a controller. The wheel is customized to provide basic movements and essential actions (abilities, etc). As shown in the video down below, the streamer managed to pull off clutch dodges by simply steering left and right - to which he joked by saying: "all those games of Mario Kart paid off!"
The spectacular feat was not the user's first stunt as he had a proven track record of completing games from dance pads, hair dryers, fruits and even Ouija Board. He had made headlines when he played Overwatch using the latter as it was puzzling as to how the YouTuber customized the board for the character's movements.
