Koenigsegg Regera and Koenigsegg One:1 ($2 million)
Koenigsegg's first and second entry in this list is the $2 million Regera and the One:1. The Regera is the owner of a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine along with a 4.5-kWh battery pack. The 3,240-pound hybrid hypercar pumps out 1,100 horsepower allowing it to speed up from 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds and 0 to 186 mph in 10.9 seconds. It supposedly can reach 248 mph in only 20 seconds.
The One:1 is a limited edition car by Christian von Koenigsegg that boasts of a 1:1 kg-to-hp ratio, hence the moniker. The One:1 is even faster than the Regera with a possible speed of 273 mph courtesy of a mind-boggling 1,340 hp.
Bugatti Chiron and Ferrari F60 America ($2.5 million)
The Bugatti Chiron and Ferrari F60 America are tied at the seventh and eighth place with price tags of $2.5 million each. The Chiron comes with a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 capable of producing 1,500 hp and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. The 2017 Chiron can go for 234 mph though it has a limit of 261 mph.
The F60 America is named such as a tribute to the Italian car company's 60th year in the United States. The F60 can reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds thanks to its 6.12-liter V12 that pumps out 640 hp.
Pagani Huayra BC ($2.6 million)
The Huayra BC, named after Horacio Pagani's closest friend and Italian investor Benny Caiola, is the most expensive Pagani ever, according to The Drive. Like the Huayra, the BC has a 6.0-liter V-12 bi-turbo engine capable of 790 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque.
Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio ($3 million)
The rare Pininfarina Sergio (only six were made) carries a 4.5-liter V8 that produces 562 hp. The Sergio also belongs to the exclusive group of vehicles whose owners were picked by the automaker.
Limited Edition Bugatti Veyron by Mansory Vivere ($3.4 million)
The second Bugatti in the list is the limited edition Veyron made by Mansory Vivere. This particular version of the popular Veyron can reach 254 mph courtesy of 1,200 horsepower. Aside from its impressive speed, this Veyron can be considered a masterpiece as maps of the Targa Florio and other legendary races are etched into the car's exterior and interior using laser.
W Motors Lykan Hypersport ($3.4 million)
If the Lykan Hypersport looks familiar, it's because it was the car that "flew" through three Dubai skyscrapers in "Furious 7". The Hypersport comes with a 3.7-liter twin turbo flat-six capable of producing 770 hp and 708 lb-ft of torque. It can go 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 mph.
Lamborghini Veneno Roadster ($4.5 million)
Lamborghini created the Veneno to celebrate its 50th year of existence. The Veneno, "poison" in English, is the highest priced production car from the iconic car maker. It comes with a 6.5-liter V-12 that pumps out 749 hp.
Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita ($4.8 million)
The CCXR Trevita tops the list of most expensive street-legal production cars today as reported by Digital Trends. The Trevita is powered by a 4.8-liter dual-supercharged V8 capable of 1,004 hp and a torque of 797 lb-ft. However, what makes this car the most expensive are the diamonds embedded in the coat, dubbed the Koenigsegg Propretary Diamond Weave paint.
