Episode Gladiolus has just been released but it seems that Hajme Tabata, has a lot of plans for the new franchise. In today's interview, the game director has shared some of the plans for more DLCs, which will come in the following months for Final Fantasy XV. Here's everything there is to know so far:
Final Fantasy XV : Plans For Co-op Feature
In an interview by Game Legends, game director Hajime Tabata has shared some of their future plans for the game; one of which was the highly requested co-op feature. During the interview, Tabata said: "before we introduce the full official servers where players can play with each other, I think we're going to be doing a beta test first." This clearly signifies that the team is already planning to introduce a co-op feature for Final Fantasy. However, Tabata also hinted that this system is currently at its early stage; which could mean that it may still take some time before the concept materializes.
Episode Ardyn
In the same interview, Tabata also stated that the team is already planning on delving deeper into Ardyn's past and provide a full DLC for the character. He also noted that just like Episode Gladiolus where the game's theme is tailored specifically to highlight the main character of the DLC, the team will also incorporate the same approach on future DLCs; this include Episode Prompto and hopefully Episode Ardyn.
More DLCs To Come
The interview ended with Tabata foreshadowing more DLCs to come for the franchise. Fans can expect that the team will introduce a thorough background retrospect for each character to give them more depth and significance to the entire story.
