Blizzard is beefing up Hearthstone as it plans to launch Year of the Mammoth in the game. It will bring the first expansion, Journey to Un'Goro that will add up to 135 cards. Other than that, the developer is also changing how the game is usually played.
A Better Hearthstone, Thanks To Journey To Un'Goro
On April 6, players can get the new set of cards for Hearthstone. Blizzard will not only add new cards but will also make things a lot harder for the players. According to Polygon, a new legendary type of card called quest cards are coming, which are said to be more complex than the others.
Once the players draw a legendary quest card, they must finish certain objectives that require summoning minions while playing Hearthstone. If completed, they can receive one of the strongest minion in the game. In addition, minions can adapt things in the game.
It means that a certain minion can adapt whenever the players decide to use a spell or battle cry card in Hearthstone. They will have three choices from increasing more health, using a shield or upgrading the attack power of the card.
More Cards In Hearthstone Journey To Un'Goro
Since the expansion is about dinosaur cards, Blizzard revealed another type of card that belongs or can be considered legendary, called Tyrantus. It is not vulnerable to any kind of spells or Hero powers or in other words, it is one of the strongest cards in Journey to Un'Goro.
Tyrantus will cost them 10-mana but with its stats of 12 attack and defense power, it is worth every mana they have. Also, they need to know that every nine classes will receive 10 new cards. Additional 45 neutral cards are also part of Hearthstone Journey to Un'Goro, as per Digital Trends.
If they are interested with Hearthstone Journey to Un'Goro expansion, they can now pre-order 50 packs that cost $50. They also have a chance of getting a Fossil pack if they pre-order already. Nevertheless, of course, they can always wait when the expansion arrives on the set date of release.
