Nokia 808 PureView Gallery And Camera OTA Update Now Rolling Out In India

Users of the Nokia 808 PureView in India will finally benefit from the Gallery and Camera update which is being pushed out in the country now.

Nokia pushed out the update for the Nokia 808 PureView in March this year and it has finally made its way to Indian shores. The software update is an over-the-air (OTA) one and is a little more than 2MB in size. The OTA update is being pushed through the Software Update application rather than a separate firmware update.

According to a Gizbot report "The new Nokia software update on Nokia 808 Pureview has eventually landed in India. The update is only 2MB in size and should take no longer than 5 minutes to install. Nokia made this Gallery and Camera update available for its imaging super-champ Nokia 808 PureView back in March. The update has been pushed through Software Update application."

The update will provide users with "improved Gallery and benefit from multiple image sharing feature. This update also includes usability and quality improvements for both Gallery and Camera."

The update will also let users select multiple images on their Nokia 808 PureView with ease and then share them via Facebook, Flickr and/or Twitter. Users can also share the images via MMS and Bluetooth. The update also brings performance improvements for the smartphone's camera users' way.

According to a FoneArena report, post the update there is "more accurate Auto White Balance performance in indoor photography with Flash on. Also from lock screen the camera start up by using the camera key is now even more speedier without any hiccups."
