Heroes Of The Storm Rightfully Rewards Veteran Players Following The 2.0 Patch

The Heroes of the Storm 2.0 patch gives veteran players with plenty of rewards following the initial controversy. On the other hand, a new hero for the Diablo franchise will be making her way into the Nexus.

Balancing The Veteran Reward System In The 2.0 Patch

Those who already play HotS have already had their character levels transferred to the latest progression system. With this in mind, veteran players will naturally have an account with a lot of levels which would originally score them with only 70 boxes with only a handful being Epic quality. This quickly became a controversy on the internet as many veteran players believed that it was not fair for them.

Luckily enough, MMOGames reports that Blizzard has addressed the issue and has created an overhaul to the veteran reward system. These certain players will earn five chests after beating a single match with an Epic Loot Chest for every 10-player levels (a maximum of 55). Moreover, they will also earn one Veteran Loot Chest for every 100 levels (maximum of 10).

It is also worth noting that those who managed to reach level 40 before the patch will receive a 30-Day Stimpack to help them unlock chests more quickly. All of these new changes seem to balance out of the system and give justice to the veteran players who have spent a good amount of time on the game.

Heroes Of The Storm Adds A New Character

That aside, Cassia from Diablo 2 will be joining the fray in the Nexus following the latest patch, as per MMORPG. Along with this, The Butcher and E.T.C. have also gotten their balance changes. The patch also adds more skins and bundles to the in-game shop while fixing bugs and making some feature adjustments.

The Heroes of the Storm 2.0 patch adds a new twist to the game, which should be able to attract some new players to join the fight in the Nexus. Those who want to play the game can download it for free on the PC.
