Everything We Know About April Update In Gears Of War 4

Microsoft just announced that Gears of War 4 will receive an April update that will include an easter-themed content and access to new maps. Other than that, players will be able to enjoy new Horde mode and Versus mode that will be happening later this month.

Easter Will Be Celebrated In Gears Of War 4

A new mode called Bunny Hunt will be accessible in Gears of War 4 in lieu of Easter celebration. First, players will be able to receive bunny heads that look like Frank from "Doonie Darko." The bunny heads are improved to suit Guardian.

In addition, they need to watch out for five chocolate Easter eggs that contain weapon skins. However, players need to unlock them first, as per GameSpot. To do this, they need to register and complete several challenges in a special playlist allotted for the eggs.

Microsoft is set to reveal the details of Bunny Hunt on April 14 before it officially begins on April 16. For now, players have to wait for information on how the new mode in Gears of War 4 will work and what they need to do in order to win in the new mode.

Other Inclusions In April Update For Gears Of War 4

As per Windows Central, players can access two maps from Gears of War 3 in the current installment. The maps are Hotel and the Slab. The former will take place at a cliff and they have to battle against one another inside the hotel. In addition, they can access the weapon EMBAR in the map.

The Slab is a better version of Marcus Fenix' prison. For the season pass holders of Gears of War 4, they can already access the two maps in Developer Playlist. Once they access the maps, they can earn double XPs and 20 percent credits boost.

Players can access a Locust character, Kantus, in Gears pack this month. Also, a new horde mode can be played on April 21 and versus mode will happen on April 28. They should also watch out for major changes for weapons in Core and Competitive.
