Fans of Aidan Turner's BBC 1 drama will love these latest "Poldark Season 3 spoilers. Recent leaks of the popular TV drama indicate that its first episode might be released earlier than expected. Additionally, there will be new characters who will be added to the show. However, rumors say that there's a well-loved character that won't be coming back.

Premiere Episode Will Air In June

Although no specific date has been confirmed yet, recent spoilers of "Poldark" Season 3 suggest that its premiere episode will be aired in June. There are some rumors that its release date was bumped earlier to avoid a clash with another TV show, "Victoria." However, the showrunners are saying that there is no truth to these allegations.

New Characters Will Be Added

Fans will expect more excitement and perhaps additional twists to the story plot of "Poldark" Season 3 with the addition of new characters. Eleanor Tomlinson is coming back to reprise her role as Demelza. Jack Farthing will also be back as George Warleggan and so is Heida Reed as Elizabeth.

Some spoilers of "Poldark" Season 3 revealed that some of the new characters that will be added to the show include the two brothers of Demelza. They will be played by Tom York and Harry Richardson. Additional cast members are Christian Brassington who will play a sex-crazed vicar and Ellise Chappell who will take the role of Morwenna, a young cousin of Elizabeth.

Who Is The Well-Loved Character That Will Be Axed?

On a sad note, there is a well-loved character in "Poldark" that will not be seen in Season three. Phil Davis who played the role of Jud Paynter in the previous season will not be back. He has effectively provided a comic relief to the dramatic tensions in the show. It seems that kind of respite that provides light moments in the drama will not be there any longer. Fans who came to love his character will surely miss him.
