‘Better Call Saul’ Season 3 Review: AMC Show Promises To Be Brilliant

AMC's "Better Call Saul" Season 3 promises to be a brilliant show. Some are expecting it to be even better than "Breaking Bad," an all-time popular show. It is the story of Esau and Jacob from Genesis 27. These two brothers want their blind father's blessings. The father is, however, approaching death. The trick is that the father is allowed to bless only one of the brothers.

The father eventually decides to bless his favorite son, Esau. Nevertheless, Jacob does not care much if he is not the one to have been blessed. And, his brother Esau is the more deserving one anyway. However, it is a great deal for their mother Rebekah, whose favorite son is Jacob. The mother tricks the blind father so that he blesses Jacob instead of Esau. She gets a meal ready and asks Jacob to pretend to be Esau and serve it to his father. The trick works, as the blind father blesses Jacob even though he wanted to bless the other son.

"Better Call Saul" Season 3 is about Esau (Chuck), played by Michael McKean and Jacob (Jimmy), played by Bob Odenkirk. Jimmy doctored Mesa Verde's documents in order to get the account back to Kim, whom he is settling new law offices with. Now, Chuck has Jimmy's secret confession taped. According to Newsday, there is a huge similarity between "Better Call Saul" and "Breaking Bad." Both the TV shows have a lot of reference to the Old Testament.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the concept of "Better Call Saul" is to turn Jimmy into Saul Goodman. Season 3 starts on April 10, but the first couple of episodes were sent to critics. This season is expected to see Giancarlo Esposito return as Gus Fring. This season is all set to be a brilliant show, which will show the heartbreaking transformation of Jimmy into Saul.
