The latest chapter revealed the Quirk boosters finally in action. “My Hero Academia” Season 2 Episode 2 also finally aired featuring the sports festival.

Robo Inferno Appears During Obstacle Race

“My Hero Academia” Season 2 Episode 2 has finally been released, revealing the preparations of the upcoming Sports Festival, which will be attended by professional heroes around the country and watched by millions of spectators. As the aspiring heroes prepare for the said festival, the other sections have scouted the top class, declaring that the festival will be a war against the best and reveal that the Sports Festival will not just be a venue for students to show off their quirks. It has also been revealed that even those in the top hero sections can also be demoted or put into lower sections.

This heightened the preparations of the students as the Sports Festival commenced. As revealed in "My Hero Academia" Season 2 Episode 2, the first race of the Sports Festival is the Obstacle Race, which featured the first trials of the festival. Shouto Todoroki was able to come out of it first, using his ice power and wit to get over the narrow entrance and the Robo Infernos that have ambushed them. As Todoroki heads out way ahead of them, the rest are left to figure things out on how to surpass the deadly Robo Inferno.

Quirk Booster Finally Revealed; Kirishima Levels Up

“My Hero Academia” Chapter 133 revealed the ongoing encounter between the heroes and some small fry villains who have been making a ruckus in the streets. Eijirou Kirishima and his two companions head to the scene and tried to stop them. However, one of the goons was hiding and was able to run away as he shot a trigger, a serum that can either enhance or null a quirk, which deactivated one of Kirishima’s teammate’s quirk.

Kirishima was able to see him just in time and was able to corner him after a chase, only to realize that the goon had injected himself with the trigger, which enabled his blades to become longer and sturdier that can penetrate even Kirishima’s quirk. As Kirishima is now the one cornered, he mastered enough skill to unleash the maximum hardness level of his quirk, making the odds even.
